The Aftermath is a non-profit / for charity zine centered around a post-apocalyptic zombie AU of The Bad Batch. This zine will focus on a loose story based on the existing plot from the source media - and will follow the characters on their journey across hostile terrains to find peace and sanctuary. A story not only about survival, loss and endurance - but about connection, trust, and healing, too. We aim for this zine to allow every contributor to build upon and add to with elements of their own.This project comes from an appreciation of both apocalyptic media and The Bad Batch. Taking influence from a range of shows, games, and comics, our team of contributors hope to share this project of love with the community.

⌖What is a zine?A zine is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images. Zines are the product of either a single person or of a very small group, and are popularly photocopied into physical prints for circulation. A fanzine is a non-professional and non-official publication produced by fans of a particular book, movie, show and others for the pleasure of people who share their interest.⌖Where will the funds go?This zine is a non-profit zine. All earnings will be donated to a reputable charity, which will be decided upon through a vote by the contributors.⌖Will this zine have a physical copy?With the proper funding, the zine will hopefully be able to achieve both physical and digital formats, including merch and stretch goals.⌖What size is this zine?Our physical copies will be 6.75″ x 10.5″ (17.5cm x 26.7cm).⌖Will contributors receive a free copy of this zine?All contributors are guaranteed a free digital PDF of the completed zine. Based on the success of pre-sales, we hope to also provide free physical copies to all contributors!⌖Will there be a Discord server?Yes, there will be a Discord server for the contributors. We will use Discord to communicate updates and information (as well as create a space to share ideas and work in progress). You may also communicate with us through our social medias if any issue arises.⌖Who can apply?Anybody 16+ can apply, no matter the experience they have with creating art for fanzines.⌖What kind of creations will be in the zine?We encourage all sorts of fan content to be created. At the current time, we are looking for artists to create page art, comics, and illustrations exploring and adding plot points throughout the story. Writers will create short stories surrounding characters of their choice. Merch artists will design a variety of merch, including but not limited to — stickers, charms, prints, etc.⌖
